Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, It’s home from work we go. That’s the song they sang in the movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but that’s what so many people did on Saturday at The Farm.
The golf carts and cars were lined up out front as folks went inside to get a start with a morning cup of coffee and doughnuts provided by some farm family friends. Then the plans were explained. The jobs spelled out. And the farm member went to work.
Truckload after truckload after truckload of limbs and leaves moved out.
Now, at this point, we can break into a rendition of The Sound of Music —

Because that’s what some farm family friends and family did, as you can see from these pictures.
At the Farm, work is fun because work is friendship in force. People helping people. People sharing with people. Proof are these pictures of friends being friends
At this work day, we were pleased to see many new faces as well as many familiar faces. For those folks unable to make it to work day… these pictures are some idea of what you missed. And we missed you.
Thank You, to the members who came out. And Thank You, to the members who could not come out, but made donations.
In the end, it’s the results that count. And proof that Farm Family friends and family gets results can be seen by just going to the leaf and limb section of the farm. You will find leaves and limbs galore… all collected by the folks at the work day.
And, of course, it’s a Thompson Farm event… and you know what that means, right? FOOD! Food, glorious food. And friends, glorious friends.
Again, from the musical The Sound of Music —
A dream that will need
All the love you can give,
Every day of your life,
For as long as you live.
For As Long As You Live… At The Farm.
